A 26-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead at Adum in Kumasi by a young man believed to be her boyfriend.
The incident occurred Thursday night, just a few metres from the deceased’s home.
Some eyewitnesses reported hearing the deceased, Victoria Dapaah, pleading with the young man only identified as Takum not to kill her and that she had not cheated on him.
Adwoa Nyarko, the deceased’s mother, told Citi News that her daughter went out to see the young man after receiving a phone call.
She stated that the family is unable to confirm whether the deceased was in a relationship with the alleged perpetrator.
As a result, the family is requesting that justice be served in this matter.
