On May 8, 1996, Daniel Hernandez was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York. His mother is Mexican, while his father is Puerto Rican. He met his father when he was nine years old. Tekashi started dating Rachel “Jade” Watley just a few weeks before he was sentenced to prison at the end of 2018. He has a daughter with Sara Molina, born in October 2015, and another with Marlayna M., born in November 2018. Tekashi is fluent in Spanish and has recorded four songs in the language: “Bebe,” “Mala,” “Yaya,” and “Bori.” Asthma affects Tekashi. Tekashi moved into a small house in Lido Beach after being released from jail. A neighbour revealed his location, causing him to relocate to Water Mill, New York, to an 8,500-square-foot mansion overlooking the estate, which includes a tree farm. At the time, the house was available for rent for $55,000.
Tekashi69 has been arrested several times. He pled guilty to a felony count of utilising a kid in a sexual performance in 2015. He was sentenced to three years of probation and was not required to register as a sex offender as long as he did not post sexually explicit photographs online and received his GED. On March 22, 2020, he sought early release owing to the COVID-19 virus, which was raging across the jail system. He was freed on April 2 when the administration made no objections. He was supposed to be released in August of 2020. Tekashi was allegedly raped in a steam room at a LA Fitness club in Palm Beach County, Florida, in March 2023. To be honest, Tekashi69’s funds are difficult to track from month to month. He has undoubtedly secured multiple multi-million dollar records and concert contracts. He has also earned millions from streaming royalties, owing mostly to his YouTube channel, which has 20 million subscribers and over 5 billion video views. Tekashi presented paperwork to a court in March 2022, claiming that he was having serious financial troubles owing to lack of income, particularly because his career had been put on stop for two years. He said he received no royalties and was unable to make cash through travelling.
His filing specifically stated: “Right now, I am struggling to make ends meet. I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled.”

Daniel began rapping at the age of 16. Daniel got his first break when he met the CEO of a record label who walked into the Brooklyn bodega where he was working. Peter “Righteous P” Rogers, the record executive, ran a label named Hikari-Ultra. Daniel was inspired by Peter to start publishing original music.

6IX9INE has taken to social media to brag about various record and management deals. He claimed (in a now-deleted Instagram post) in January 2018 that he had secured a $7.5 million record contract. He claimed to have inked a $15 million management agreement with Birdman’s RICHGANG firm a month later. A month later, he claimed to have landed a $4.9 million endorsement agreement with a headphone brand. There is no proof that any of these transactions are even slightly legitimate, according to many record industry sources we contacted.
Tekashi secured a confirmed record contract with 10K Projects in October 2019. The agreement is said to be worth at least $10 million and will include two future albums, one in English and one in Spanish.
