First vice chairman of the National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Dankwah has admonished the board of directors of the club to be fair in their quest to resolve issues between coach Prosper Ogum and the management.
In an appearance on Angel TV’s Abomu Sports with Esther Abankwah, the former management member bemoaned the lack of unity but was hopeful of a resolution to the impasse that has currently put the team in disarray.
We expect our board to be fair and transparent in resolving this impasse. There is no unity among them at the moment but we expect peace to prevail.
He however advocated that anyone who fails to maintain a ‘cool head’ in these trying moments should be booted out for the bigger interest of the Kumasi-based royal club.
Anyone who isn’t ready to play a part in this must must be shown the exit. He intimated.
Meanwhile, rumours are rife that some foreign and local coaches have been shortlisted to replace the ‘runaway’ Prosper Ogum who is reported to have hinted at his resignation in a meeting with the Technical Committee of the Asante Kotoko board.
