Bibiani Gold Stars

Bibiani Gold Stars FC, formerly the Complex Stars and often shortened to and more commonly known as the Gold Stars, is a Ghanaian professional football team based in the Western North Region.

It was founded in 1998 and later given to the Bibiani Gold Mines, who play in the 2A Zone of the Ghana Division One League. Zone 2A has seven competing teams from the part of Ashanti Region, the Western Region, and the Central Region of Ghana. Bibiani Gold Star got promoted to Ghana Premier League in 2021after emerging as the winner in zone 2A in Division one league.

They secured the 10th position in the 2022 WPL with 46 points. Played 34 matches, winning 14 drawings and 4 and losing 16 in the league.

They were nicknamed The Golden Boy’s
Gye Nyame (Except the Lord).
