The management committee chairman of the Black Galaxies, Dr Tony Aubyn has indicated that the GFA and Sports Ministry are in a dialogue to clear any outstanding bonuses to ensure that the team will succeed in eliminating bitterest rivals, Nigeria from the qualifiers.

Speaking on Asempa FM, the exco member assured that the Galaxies has gotten enough preparations to topple the Super Eagles CHAN team.

”The GFA has given the Black Galaxies technical support by organizing a friendly game in Austria”, he said.

Tony Aubyn also noted that the Football Association has done all necessary arrangements knowing the threats Nigeria poses ahead of the crunch encounter.

“The team is aware that Nigerians are coming as wounded lions due to what the Blacks Stars did to the Super Eagles in the two-legged World cup qualifiers’ final elimination. Black Galaxies didn’t qualify for the CHAN tournament four times in a roll, so we are much aware and well-prepared to lift the trophy.

“The Ministry of Sports has placed measures to sort out their previous bonuses and other wages. We have heard a lot of commentary in the media regarding this match. Monetory motivation is important so the Sports Minister is doing everything possible to pay these players for whatever they deserved”.

Ghana will host Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, August 28, 2022, before flying to Nigeria for the last elimination.
