CAF Awards: Evelyn Badu Wins Inter-Club Player of The Year

Former Hasaacas Ladies striker, Evelyn Badu has been named the Women’s Inter-Club Player of the Year at the Confederation of African Football Awards in Morocco.

Evelyn Badu currently plies her trade with Avaldsnes Idrettslagin in the Norwegian Women’s league and won the award at the expense of South Africa and Mamelodi Sundowns’ players Andile Dlamini and Bambanani Mbanie.

The Black Princesses captain is expected to win another award on the night ahead of her former teammate, Doris Boaduwaa of Hasaacas Ladies and Morocco’s Yasmine Zouhir of AS Saint Etienne.

Evelyn Badu led her former side to win silver at the first ever CAF Women’s Champions League, held in Egypt and emerged as the top scorer and best player of the competition.
