Don't go after my ex-wife - Salinko

Salinko, a famous Kumawood actor whose marriage ended a few months ago, has urged the public to avoid criticising and insulting his ex-wife because she is not completely to blame for their split.

This is because together with his ex-wife, they came to an amicable understanding that they could not continue the marriage owing to irreconcilable differences and agreed to embark on ‘Splitsville’.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the Boys Abr3 star stated, “I have heard a few comments bashing her and I am not in the least amused at all because no one has the right to attack her for the failure of our union.”

“We just had problems understanding each other, and that’s why we’re where we are now, so I don’t want anyone to blame her for anything.” It was tough for both of us at first, but our hearts and minds are now at peace, and we have both accepted the current reality,” he continued.

Contrary to popular belief, Salinko’s marriage failed due to long distance, since he disclosed his ex-wife did not live overseas.

“She was not living outside the country; we were both in Ghana but used to travel frequently, which is why people believe she was living abroad.”

“I’d like to take this opportunity to encourage young married couples to try to understand each other; once there is no misunderstanding, their marriage will work.” Too much advice from family and friends does not always assist. They are there to help us, but we should not rely too heavily on their advice,” he stated.

Salinko, real name Abraham Davis, is one of those people who enjoys flaunting their partner on social media. He claimed that his ex-wife was photogenic and enjoyed snapping photographs, so he used to take advantage of it to show her off on social media and in public.

“One thing is that once I am in the spotlight, my partner is most likely to be in the spotlight as well, so that is what it is and has always been, I don’t have any problem ‘displaying’ my partners in public,” he explained.

When asked whether there was anything new in the works, Salinko, who has portrayed fetish priest roles in a number of projects, said he was looking forward to appearing in an action film in the not-too-distant future.

“I’ve always wanted to be in an action movie, a serious action movie without any comedy.” That is something I hope to do one of these nice days,” he continued.

"I was still in my wedding gown when the marital problems began." People began phoning to tell me they were having an affair with my husband. In my marriage, I've only felt happy for 5 minutes. We didn't even have sex. "I think we made love about six times in our one year together," a depressed Xandy admitted. Kaninja claims the marriage collapsed because Xandy was more preoccupied with her lesbian lovers rather than their marriage. He added that his ex-wife portraying the victim is merely a front to hide her embarrassment. Kaninja stated that Xandy is unsuitable for marriage since she cannot even arrange her matrimonial bed or clean.

King Kaninja, the ex-husband of actress Xandy Kamel, has reacted to charges that his casual attitude and infidelity spree ended their two-year marriage.

His recent outburst comes in response to an interview Xandy gave on Delay Show, in which she declared, among other things, that she was the family earner, rented their house, and paid all the expenses.

She also said she had over GH30,000 in her account at the time of her wedding, but that amount had been reduced to barely over GH100 in two years.

Xandy also discussed the trauma she faced in her marriage, which cost her two pregnancies.

Kaninja stated that Xandy is unsuitable for marriage since she cannot even arrange her matrimonial bed or clean it.

Even routine household duties, he claimed Xandy’s mother was doing.

Kaninja, who had opted not to respond, stated that he felt compelled to clear his name.

He claims he hasn’t spoken up because he doesn’t want to get involved in the dirt like his ex-wife.

“The reason I don’t pay attention to some of this news is that eagles and pigs aren’t natural enemies.” Pigs adore playing in the mud, therefore there is no need to accompany them there. “When you follow them, you become dirty like them,” he grumbled.

Kaninja stated that if Xandy did not stop firing, he would be forced to unleash all of the bombshells.
