Henry in an appearance on Angel TV’s Abomu Sports disclosed that the football governing body is setting up technical centers before the launch of the project by the end of September.
“We are setting up technical centers in all the districts across the country. It is a program designed by our technical director (Bernard Lippert) pending its unveiling. We will set up a scouting unit and a U-13 department who will select the players before they converge in Prampram for beginning of the aacdemy,” he disclosed.
Henry was quick to note that once funding for the program is secured, the Association will roll out the program following a briefing by Bernard Lippert and the head of coaches’ training, Professor Mintah.
