The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association has dismissed appeal cases filed by embattled Ashantigold and Inter Allies for their respective demotions to the third tier of the football pyramid.
Both clubs appealed a decision of the Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Association after they were found guilty of match manipulation in 2020/21 Premier League season on matchday 34 game, played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The Appeals Committee in its ruling stated that the evidence available to the Committee supports the conclusion reached by the DC that the match was not played competitively.
The Appeals Committee, therefore, endorsed all Sanctions imposed by the DC on the Clubs, Players and Officers.
