Black Stars new boy Antoine Selorm Semenyo scored in his 3rd consecutive match for Bristol City in their win over Huddersfield Town in the Championship.
Semenyo continued his stellar run of form in front of goal after returning from injury as he climbed off the bench to net the final goal to help Bristol claim a 2-0 win against Huddersfield on Wednesday.
The Robins broke the deadlock of the match in the 35th minute after Nahki Wells’ commanding header put them in front following a cross from Jay Dasilva.
Huddersfield came close to getting the equaliser moments later but it was Bristol forward Tommy Conway who cleared the ball off the line.
Semenyo was brought on as a substitute in the 58th minute after taking the place of Conway in the match.
The new Ghana international scored a sublime goal against the the run of play as his unstoppable strike went into the top corner in the 80th minute.
Bristol secured all three points to move seventh on the league standings and extending their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven.
It’s now three goals in three matches for Semenyo since his return from injury.
