I repaired this woman’s television somewhere in 2019. I contacted her after a buddy referred me to her. I am interested in information technology and software. So the television was the first item I set up for her. I believe she phoned me again a few months later regarding her phone and her daughter’s PC. She is married to a recently retired police officer.
I’ve heard he’s a high-ranking police officer who is much regarded. The man appears to be the woman’s father, and they have three children. When I go over to her house, her husband is usually not home, and I’ve only met him a few times.
The woman is quite kind, and I saw that she was phoning me for trivial difficulties and giving me money. Her children can help her tackle some of the challenges. She’ll call me and say her phone isn’t working. But when I get there, I’ll notice that all I have to do is restart the phone or switch it out of flight mode. I wasn’t staying far away from them, and going there to receive money for free was OK with me, so I never complained.
This went on for a while, and the woman became more like a friend. When I come to visit, she will cook for me, prepare meals for me, and watch movies with me. My acquaintance forewarned me about the situation. He stated that he had also heard it from someone and that people are beginning to notice how often I am at the policeman’s house. I assured him that I was doing nothing wrong. But I didn’t want any trouble, so I began ignoring her.
I make an excuse whenever she calls. This carried on for a while until she called and asked whether her husband or another police officer had scared me away. I assured her nothing like that had happened, but she insisted. Finally, she offered me to sit someplace, and I didn’t want to let her down, so we met there and she began telling me about how she was forced to marry her husband when she was only 19 years old.
The man had looked after her and her family. She comes from a low-income family, and the cop has been looking after them for many years. They are both from the same town. The dad already has older children. She claims his first child is older than she is. But he never married until one day when he announced his intention to marry her and her parents couldn’t say no.
She claims that the man does not have time for her and does not fulfil her and that all she wants is someone to be with. I informed her that I couldn’t do it. She was willing to give me money, and the woman herself is attractive, but I was worried about what would happen if we were ever detected. She is 32 years old, and I am 30. Her spouse is in his mid-sixties. I told her I couldn’t do it, so we should call it a night. I’m not allowed to have an affair with a married lady. But we were conversing and talked on the phone a lot, and I began to develop feelings for her, especially when she sent me strange texts.
Then we started gathering at various guesthouses. We didn’t want to be caught in the same area too many times, so we constantly met at various locations. During that time, Mom had two abortions for me. We might easily have delivered her children to her spouse. That is far preferable to murdering them through abortion, but she has always demanded that her husband does not touch her, therefore it will not be feasible.
I was renting a really good apartment thanks to her spouse. She sent me a weekly stipend from the money her husband gave her, and that’s how I took care of myself. My job was not paying well, and hardly one calls me for work these days. Last month, I was there when she phoned and told me to leave. She stated that her husband discovered the affair and is seeking me. Someone informed him about it. I left Accra and travelled to Winneba to visit my older brother.
The next week, she called to tell me that she had discovered she was pregnant with our kid again and was afraid of what her husband would do if he found out, so she wants me to show her where I am so she can come there. I told her she could abort it where we did the first two, but she claimed she was terrified her husband would find out and she needed to meet with me right away to discuss what to do. I was terrified by the news, so I shared it with my brother, who became enraged and is now dismissing me from his side. He stated that he did not want any trouble.
I am just confused and I don’t know what to do. I have put my phone off so that the woman doesn’t reach me. My brother has given me up till next week to leave his room and now I don’t have any money or a place to go. Now I regret the day I even met her. Upon all the women I could have gone for I still chose to sleep with a policeman’s wife. Now my life is miserable. I need help. Please what should I do?
