Lynx Entertainment signee, Dennis Nana Dwamena aka KiDi has announced his comeback as an entertainer in a social media post.
Rumours were rife in both traditional and social media about the “Touch It” hitmaker’s ill health which necessitated the cancellation of his American Tour after he was alleged to have been bedridden with a stroke.
In a post on his Instagram handle, KiDi sent an appreciation message to his well-wishers who took the time to check up on him during his sabbatical leave on social media to take care of his health and subsequent cancellation of his tour.
“A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media. In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands I work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and I can’t appreciate you enough,” he noted.
However, KiDi took time to debunk claims on claims made by some ‘bad actors’ who took the opportunity to spread false news about his health.
“Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned. While I do not want to give it any more attention, I want to categorically address that those stories were false.
“I am glad to be back to doing what I love most; creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me. Love, KiDi,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, some colleague artistes have welcomed him and wished him well in a response to the above post.
