According to Citi News, the abducted National Deacon of the Church of Pentecost (CoP) in South Africa, Elder Emmanuel Cudjoe, has returned home alive.

“God has done it, dear saints,” said South Africa’s National Head Pastor, Apostle A. Yiadom-Boakye. Elder Emmanuel Cudjoe, the National Deacon, has now returned home, alive, by the grace of God. God has miraculously done it again. “I appreciate your prayers.”
On Sunday, October 29, 2023, members of the Johannesburg branch of the Ghanaian Church of Pentecost were robbed at gunpoint of their possessions, and a church deacon was abducted during a church service.
Ghana’s High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, guaranteed that it will cooperate with the Church of Pentecost and the South African Police Service (SAPS) to facilitate the deacon’s quick and safe release and return.
In a statement published on Monday, the Ghana High Commission said, “The Mission is currently working with the Church in collaboration with the South African Police Service (SAPS) to ensure the victim’s prompt and safe release and return to his family.”
“Kindly note that the South African Police are fully focused on the matter and are working hard to ensure the safe return of our compatriot.”
Meanwhile, the Church of Pentecost and Ghana’s Mission in South Africa have yet to publish an official statement on the situation.
