King Charles of the United Kingdom is crowned in a lavish Coronation Ceremony

Like so many of the country’s kings before him, Britain’s King Charles was crowned Saturday in Westminster Abbey. The last coronation took place 70 years ago, when Elizabeth, Charles’ mother, was crowned.

The extravagant event was filled with robed clergy, prayers, grand music, and little boys and girls singing in high-pitched voices.

The coronation will take place over the course of a weekend, with several events scheduled. While it is said to be a scaled-down version of what was initially intended, it is still expected to cost British taxpayers millions of pounds.

Charles is the first king to publicly pray during his coronation. In part, his prayer stated, “Grant that I may be a blessing to all thy children, of every faith and belief, that we may together discover the ways of gentleness and be led into the paths of peace.”

Millions of people worldwide were able to watch the coronation live on television and the Internet.

Many people wondered what part Charles’ son Harry would play in the event. Harry arrived with the other royals and sat with them before the ceremony began.

Harry and the royal family have been at odds since he and his American wife Meghan Markle disclosed more of the royal family’s inner workings than many in the family would have wanted.

The event was attended by Harry’s brother, Prince William of Wales. Following Charles’ coronation, William knelt before his father and vowed his allegiance to him.

Charles wore a 2.2 kilogramme (5 pounds) pure gold crown encrusted with exquisite diamonds. The crown was originally used in King Charles II’s coronation in 1661.

By the conclusion of the coronation, he was wearing another crown, one that his predecessors had worn on ceremonial occasions.

Camilla was also crowned during the event. She bowed to the king after being crowned.

However, not everyone is pleased with the coronation’s ostentatious display of wealth. There is a widespread belief, particularly among Britain’s younger residents, that the monarchy has outlived its usefulness and relevance. Some in the roaring throng were undoubtedly mocking the moment.

Since 1066, all British kings have been crowned in Westminster. The coronation was attended by other royals, politicians, officials, celebrities, and artists from throughout the world. Jill Biden, the first lady of the United States, came into Westminster with Ukraine’s first lady.

Before the event, sweeping television coverage of the abbey revealed several attendees dressed in a variety of outfits, including caftans and kilts.

The ritual at Westminster Abbey combines old traditions with innovative ideas.

The programme included new music by acclaimed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as a gospel choir performance.

Following the ceremony, Charles and Camilla proceeded to Buckingham Palace for a traditional balcony appearance.

According to British police, 11,000 officers will be on duty throughout the day.

Meanwhile, some party operatives are pleased with the outcome thus far.

Two people were detained in Asokore Mampong Municipality for allegedly attempting to double register in the current Limited Voters’ Registration Exercise.

According to Municipal EC official Angela Afriyie Osei, the two suspects were apprehended after being validated as people existing in the Electoral Commission’s database.

As a challenge to the procedure, Madam Angela Afriyie mentions duplicate registration and efforts to register minors.

“The challenge we have been facing is about the double registration. At times when applicants come and we interrogate them, they insist he or she hasn’t registered before but when they go to the biometric column then it will come out that the person has registered.

“At the moment, we’ve handed two to the police. On male and a female. Another issue is also with the registration of minors,” she indicated.

Meanwhile, some party operatives are pleased with the outcome thus far.

“So far, we are satisfied with the entire process except some few challenges but that aside, we are very much comfortable with the process. All in all, everything is great,” an agent told JoyNews.

Black Sherif prophesy: Prophet Nigel Gaisie makes u-turn

"We see in bits and pieces, and what I saw in the spiritual realm is Sherif Black, but any logical person can make projections and deductions from it." If I hear a prophecy about Ako and my name is Akosua, I will definitely act on it," he said in parables. Regardless, the man of God exhorted those who were convinced of the prophecy to fast and pray in order to avoid death. Prophet Gaisie, who dismissed charges that his doom prophecies concerning celebrities are only for fame, stated that he will quit making them public in order to prevent insults and derision.

Nigel Gaisie, the founder and head of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, has stunned Ghanaians by backtracking on his prophecy regarding artist Black Sherif.

Prophet Gaisie had a vision in which he witnessed the mother of musical sensation Black Sherif sobbing excessively in a post on his official Facebook page.

As a result, he pushed the musician to seek safety before December, implying his impending death.

However, in a recent interview, Prophet Gaisie clarified that the prophecy is for a particular Sherif Black and not the Konongo-based performer.

“We see in bits and pieces, and what I saw in the spiritual realm is Sherif Black, but any logical person can make projections and deductions from it.” If I hear a prophecy about Ako and my name is Akosua, I will definitely act on it,” he said in parables.
