Accra-based Legon Cities have taken to social media to take a swipe at regional rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak following an attempted move to snatch talisman, Jonah Attuquaye.
Hearts of Oak have been in the transfer market to augment the squad that failed to defend the league title and put up an abysmal performance in the CAF Champions League last season.
However, the continental club masters successfully defended the MTN FA Cup title which has given them the ticket to represent Ghana at the CAF Confederations Cup.
Rumours were rife that Hearts have finalised personal terms discussion with Attuquaye and a bid to officially request for his service from Legon Cities was in the offing.
In a new post on social media, the Royals have put the long-term speculations to sleep.
