Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has hit out at British publication for publishing ‘fake news’ about this.
This is in regard to supposed comments made by Kudus in respect to Brazil’s Neymar ahead of Ghana’s start to the World Cup.
“According to Guardian who cited an interview conducted by Gary Al-Smith, Kudus said, “Neymar is not better than me, he’s just a higher profile player. The Ajax man, after seeing the publication, made a counter on his social media account. My Family & Culture raised me to respect the elderly. @neymarjr like @Thiago6 & many legends inspired us to dream. Just like @neymarjr I humbly want to inspire the next generation like they did. @guardian_sport whats the agenda ? Al focus on tomorrow. FAKE NEWS!!!!!!” he stated on social media.
Kudus is expected to start as Ghana faces Portugal in Group H on Thursday.
