The Assin Central legislator has shared his opinion on the poor performance of the Black Stars at the just ended 2022 World Cup tournament.
According to him, it has been said that there shouldn’t be any form of interference from outside parties so far as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is involved.
However, he has realized some footballers were made to play in the tournament because they had their club owners or former club administrators in high positions of the GFA.
Per his narration, the imposition of players by administrators of the GFA was one of the major reasons why talented players like Tariq Lamptey and Gideon Mensah failed to get the requisite time they needed to help the team progress.
