The Ghana Police Service has told the public that it will be adequately prepared to preserve peace and order during the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer election on Saturday, November 4.
Over 200,000 delegates from throughout the country are anticipated to vote in the election to choose an NPP candidate for the 2024 general elections.
In a statement issued by its director, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, the Police Service stated that appropriate protection would be given during and after the polls.
The Ghana Police Service also reaffirmed its commitment to working with electoral stakeholders to “ensure peace, security, law and order during the election.”
