"We recognise that the language of the message may have been inappropriate, and we accept the concerns highlighted. "It was not our intention to cause any harm, and we value and respect the contributions and rights of individuals with disabilities in our society," he said in a statement. Sammy Flex stated that the Shatta Movement is devoted to fostering diversity and understanding. "We pledge to be more aware of our words and deeds in the future. "Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding," he said. Shatta Wale chastised Stonebwoy for missing the much-anticipated Fadama Sallah Fest.

The Shatta Movement Empire has apologised to members of the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled after Shatta Wale was caught “mocking” his colleague Stonebwoy’s handicap.

Shatta Wale’s manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah, wrote to the GSPD, stating that the ‘kakai’ hitmaker had no intention of mocking or denigrating those with disabilities.

Sammy Flex, as he is generally known, stated that his artist’s primary goal was to demonstrate the importance of Stonebwoy respecting others and maintaining correct conduct.

“We recognise that the language of the message may have been inappropriate, and we accept the concerns highlighted.

“It was not our intention to cause any harm, and we value and respect the contributions and rights of individuals with disabilities in our society,” he said in a statement.

In his rage on stage, he used several ‘unprintable’ remarks against Stonebwoy, including mocking his limp, which many people believed were unnecessary even if he had a feud with the ‘Nominate’ singer.

However, a week later, the GSPD denounced Shatta Wale’s conduct as reckless and potentially injurious to the emotional health of the physically impaired.

In a news release, the GSPD stated that they had observed a video circulating on social media in which Shatta Wale mocked Stonebouy’s disabilities.

Shatta Wale claimed in the video, among other nasty things, “You are a bad person, that is why God made you a disabled person; you are a disabled person, don’t try to fight an able person.”

“By making this comment, he is implying that all people with disabilities are terrible because God created us that way. This unsophisticated comment should not have come from a well-known figure like Shatta Wale,” the statement stated.

The group urged Shatta Wale to apologise to the community and take steps to remove the insulting videos from social media networks.

Furthermore, one singer, Bosheba De Shyne, voiced disgust at Shatta Wale following his words on the Sallahfest stage.

The musician with a handicap stated that he did not think it was appropriate for an artist he admires to weaponize his impairment by insulting a colleague.

Meanwhile, the GSPD issued a fresh press statement acknowledging Shatta Wale and his team’s apologies.

“We accept the apology and appreciate their commitment to promoting inclusivity, as there is a need for all of us to work together and create a more inclusive environment for all, regardless of disabilities.”

“We’d also like to use this occasion to thank everyone in the disability community for their patience and all stakeholders for their support. “Let us remember that disability can strike anyone at any time,” they said.
