Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum has reportedly resigned from his post after 10 months at the helm of affairs at the Kumasi-based royal club.
According to a report by Oyerapa FM in Kumasi, Prosper Ogum is believed to have had many disagreements with the board over the signing of new players and the release of others.
However, both the coach and members of the board are yet to make an official statement over the rumour that is rife in some sections of the media on Wednesday afternoon.
Prosper Ogum is expected to lead his triumphant side that conquered the local league to make honours for Ghana in the Caf Champions League in September.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah is reported to have submitted a budget of € 3 million as the team prepared for the Africa showdown.
