Safiatu Salisu, previously of Ampem Darkoa, has joined Tanzanian female side, Yanga Princess Soccer Club, as the safest pair of hands on a two-year contract.
Safiatu Salisu played for the Ampem Darkoa side, which defeated Hassacas Ladies in both the Champions of Champions and FA Cup finals during the 2021–20222 Ghana Women’s Premier League season.

Safiatu’s splendid performance in the league propelled Ampem Darkoa to earn them a spot in Ivory Coast’s Yamosomkrom for the second CAF Women’s Champions League qualification.
Ampem Darkoa was unfortunately denied entry to the main tournament in Morocco by Nigeria’s Bayalsa Queen, who defeated them in the final 3 goals to nil.

The former Value Girls Academy goalie’s performance was outstanding, as it attracted a lot of interest from European clubs that wanted to sign her.
