Scores injured as tipper truck runs into Asamankese lorry station

A tipper truck collided with the Asamankese lorry station on Friday, injuring a number of people.

According to accounts, the truck’s brakes failed, causing it to swerve off the road and into the busy lorry station.

According to an eyewitness, Philip McCain, who talked to Adom News, the truck’s brakes are likely to have failed.

He said that, in addition to pulling several automobiles, it crashed into over ten vehicles carrying passengers.

“Many vehicles were destroyed, and passengers were also injured and rushed to the hospital for medical attention,” he continued.

Mr McCain stated that due to the severity of their injuries, some of the passengers were thought dead.
