When I met her, I was 19 years old. She was about 35 years old. I was doing an internship at the company where she worked. I remember her always saying nice things about me. I wasn’t planning on staying close to her, but she insisted on giving me a ride home. When school was out, I stayed with a cousin and his family. My cousin used to question me about the woman and why she was constantly buying me things and giving me rides home.
