Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has dominated local football headlines since Wednesday afternoon following his resignation from Asante Kotoko after guiding the club to win the 2021/22 premier league season.

Club supporters and football enthusiasts have raised a lot of concerns after his resignation and have argued that Ogum’s resignation has the tendency of jeopardizing the team’s progress.

However, these are some six reasons why the former WAFA coach called it a quit following his zoom meeting with the technical committee of the Asante Kotoko board.

I am not attempting to make matters seem ordinary but According to my good friend “Mr. Source “

1) A board member based in Tema is doing everything possible to convince Dr. Ogum to change his decision and he concluded that anything is possible.

Don’t forget – No statement or comment from Kotoko or any management member on this topic- This creates room for changes.

2) During our conversation, he added that a former CEO of Kotoko also believes that “if He will go, let him go” and he is willing to assist management find a better replacement.

Personally, all the other issues are minor and can easily be solved when Leaders decide to be Leaders.

1) The 2 months’ unpaid Salaries of the players and 4 months of unpaid salaries of other workers-Minor

2) Replacement of Fabio Gama,Mudasiru Salifu & Richmond Lamptey- Medium minor.

3) The contract renewal of Kwame Baah-Minor

4) Maybe the replacement of Frank Mbella be huge small but even with that it can be managed.

Fact: Issues dey but it’s not too big for The Board and Management to handle.
