Jackson played for the San Antonio Spurs from 2001 to 2003, the Atlanta Hawks from 2003 to 2004, the Indiana Pacers from 2004 to 2007, the Golden State Warriors from 2007 to 2009, the Charlotte Bobcats from 2009 to 2011, the Milwaukee Bucks from 2011 to 2012, and the Los Angeles Clippers from 2013 to 2014. Jackson was a member of the Spurs’ 2003 NBA Championship team. In January 2014, he became a free agent and eventually retired from the game.
Stephen is heavily involved in several charities off the court and received the NBA’s Community Assist Award in the spring of 2008. The Stephen Jackson Academy of Art, Science, and Technology was founded by Jackson.
