Stephen Ayensu Ntim has for the first time in a fifth attempt won the Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party.
At the just-ended National Delegates Conference, Stephen Ntim polled 4,014 votes to beat his contenders.
Mr Ntim previously served as the First Vice Chair of the party between 2001-2005. However, he made his first attempt to become Chairman of the party in 2005 and lost to Peter Mac Manu.
He lost in 2010 to the late Jake Okanta Obetsebi-Lamptey, in 2014 to Paul Afoko and again in 2018 against outgoing chairman Freddie Blay.
