Thomas Partey shines in Arsenal’s win over AC Milan

Ghana’s deputy captain Thomas Partey was a delight to watch for English Premier League side Arsenal FC in win over AC Milan in Dubai.

The Ghanaian box-to-box midfielder played 45 minutes of the match before he was substituted and replaced by Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny at the start of the second half.

Norwegian star and captain of Arsenal, Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock of the match to put the Red and Whites outfit in the lead with a beautiful goal halfway through the first 45 minutes of the match.

English youngster Reiss Nelson added the second goal of the match to put the Gunners in a commanding 2-0 four minutes before the break.

Defender Fikayo Tomori got an equalizer for the Red and Blacks outfit who lost the game 2-1 and went on to lose the spot kicks too which handed the Gunners extra points.

Partey was part of the Ghana team that suffered group stage elimination at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar earlier this month.
