Guinness World Records subtracts 7 hours from Hilda Baci's 100-hour cookathon but awards her the coveted title

Hilda Baci has now been confirmed as the person with the most cooking hours in the world by Guinness World Records.

Earlier this morning, the famous Nigerian chef who has been the topic of social media broke the Guinness World Record for Marathon cooking.

Lata Tondon, the first female from India, held the record for cooking continuously for 87 hours and 45 minutes.

Hilda Baci cooked for 100 hours in order to set a new record.

However, Guinness World Records subtracted seven hours from Chef Hilda Baci’s 100-hour effort to set the record for the longest cooking marathon.
