John Kumah, Member of Parliament for Ejisu, has categorically denied any support for New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr Kumah has absolutely denied rumours that he abandoned Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen in order to support Dr Bawumia out of fear of losing his job.
He emphasised his undying allegiance and thanked Mr Kyerematen, who granted him his first political post as a political assistant from 2006 to 2008.
Dr Kumah rejected fears about losing his present job as deputy finance minister on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Monday.
Instead, he explained why he supports Dr Bawumia’s agenda, which emphasises digitalization and the active participation of the young in creating the nation’s future.
Dr Kumah voiced his great conviction in Dr Bawumia’s knowledge of the government’s new reforms, describing him as the right choice to lead the country forward.
He stated unequivocally, “There is no job that I am concerned about losing.” My support for Dr Bawumia originates from his vision for the future, notably in the areas of digitalization and youth empowerment.”
Furthermore, he stated, “Dr Bawumia’s understanding of the new government reforms convinces me that he is the right choice for our country at this critical juncture.” “I have faith in his ability to guide us towards progress and development.”
Highlighting the people of Ejisu’s support, Dr Kumah expressed confidence that they are happy with his political activity, and he believes they would give him another chance to serve them.
As the election season progresses, Dr Kumah stays committed to expressing his support for Dr Bawumia and working relentlessly for the benefit of Ejisu and the whole nation.
