The Lighthouse Group of Churches’ Bishop Dag Heward Mills has advocated in favour of polygamy.
In a social media video, the man of God is heard explaining why the Bible does not prohibit polygamy.
He talked about how many of the role models that Christians look up to were polygamists.
The Bishop even used the Bible to back up his talk.
“Nature even supports polygamy; there is no animal that has only one wife,” he said, quoting 1 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV), which reads: “Doth not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a shame unto him?”
He then asked, “Which goat has only one wife?” “How many wives does a dog have?”
