Kudus Mohammed is on the radar of Brighton; "the interest is concrete"- Fabrizio Romano

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been added to the transfer list of English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.

The transfer expert recently revealed that fellow Ghanaian and Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is on the market, with a number of European teams apparently interested in signing the Arsenal star. (To read the complete report, click on the highlighted paragraph.)

Kudus has been linked to numerous EPL teams following an excellent 2022-2023 season in which he scored twice in three games at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 22-year-old scored 11 goals and made three assists in 30 league appearances for Ajax Amsterdam, while also scoring four goals and adding two assists in the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle United have all expressed interest in his services, with German club Borussia Dortmund also interested.

Brighton needs to strengthen its depth, particularly in midfield, after a surprising run that resulted in a historic qualifying to the Europa League, with Alexis MacAllister departing for Liverpool and Moises Caicedo on the verge of leaving the Seagulls.

In his tweet, Romano added that Brighton’s interest is “concrete,” and that the team loves Kudus, but that the move isn’t an “easy deal.”
