Man United's Kobbie Mainoo will miss the first part of the 2023-2024 season

Following their son’s terrible death at St. Peter’s Mission School in Ogbojo, Adentan Municipality, the family of a 14-year-old British national is seeking answers.

According to reports, the youngster died after falling from the fourth story of the school’s dormitory.

The family is furious by the school officials’ comments, and they suspect foul play in their son’s murder.

They have already raised their worries about the incident’s circumstances and are seeking clarification on what actually occurred.

The Academy graduate had to withdraw from the game.

Following the event, the 18-year-old wrote on his Instagram account.

“I’ll be stronger and back in no time,” he wrote. “Many thanks for your encouraging messages.”

United teammates such as fellow Academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho and club captain Bruno Fernandes wished Mainoo luck on his post.

Mainoo began 2023/24 off the strength of his senior Reds debut last season, which he received from Erik ten Hag, as well as being voted the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year.

The teenager continued to impress during pre-season, with Ten Hag putting his trust in him by starting him against Arsenal and Real Madrid.

He will miss our last Tour 2023 encounter against Borussia Dortmund on Monday, July 31 (02:00 BST), which will be shown live on MUTV.
