Ernest Nuamah of the Black Stars is the most expensive left winger under the age of 21 playing outside of Europe’s top five divisions.
The fast 19-year-old topped the CIES Football Observatory’s 10-player list; Nuamah is valued at 15.4 million euros, ahead of players from Belgium’s Club Brugge and Portugal’s FC Porto.
The list follows Nuamah’s hat-trick in FC Nordsjaelland’s 4-1 win against Viborg in the Danish Superliga.
Nordsjaelland surrendered a goal in the 10th minute to Mads Songergaard but rallied brilliantly with a brace from Nuamah to take a 2-1 half-time lead.
Benjamin Nygren closed off the scoring in the 89th minute after Nuamah scored his third goal in the 59th minute by bending a left-footed drive into the corner of the net.
Nuamah scored his second goal after collecting a silky pass from fellow Ghanaian and Right to Dream Academy graduate Ibrahim Osman and slotting it into the right side of the goal.
