Ohemaa Mercy, a well-known gospel singer, has given an awe-inspiring testimonial from a previous edition of her annual Tehillah Experience event that was brought to her notice.
In an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3 New Day, the artiste known for her soul-stirring performances told the story of a mother who saw her son suffer with his inability to walk for two years.
This mother, like many others across the world, had found peace and inspiration in the internet streaming of Tehillah’s worship sessions, tuning in from as far away as the UK or the US.
She shared, “There is this lady that gave birth to a son and for two years, he wasn’t walking so I think somewhere last two years, they were watching one of the Tehilla experiences online.”
The air was thick with intense worship and impassioned devotion as the Tehillah programme unfolded across digital waves.
“I think in the UK or US whiles the program was going on, they were screaming and worshipping and the son also got up and was also jumping. Just like that,” she disclosed.
Ohemaa Mercy begged Christians, with reverence and humility, to grasp and accept the heavenly forces at work when people meet to worship.
“Cookie I want people to realise that there is something about worship that we’ve missed a lot and I want God to give me the wisdom to take people through and people to understand that there is so much power and presence under the atmosphere of worship,” she said.
Ohemaa Mercy went on to describe her own spiritual practise, a lifestyle of continual praise and worship that has resulted in her receiving answers within 24 to 72 hours.
“It’s been my lifestyle to praise God and worship constantly for 24 hours or more and latest by 72 hours, I get my response for something I need,” she added.
