On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the last burial ceremonies for Ghana’s former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor, were conducted at Heroes Park in Kumasi.
Thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life flocked to the Park to participate in the event.
On Thursday, November 16, 2023, a state funeral for Theresa Kufuor was held in the State House forecourt. The former First Lady died on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 87, in her house in Peduase, accompanied by her family.
On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, thousands of mourners gathered in the State House forecourt to pay their respects to the former First Lady.

On Sunday, November 19, 2023, St. Peter’s Cathedral in Kumasi will host a Thanksgiving ceremony.
