NPP bigwig, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has f!r€d Otto Addo and the GFA for failing to execute Ghana’s plans on making it to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup tournament.
According to him, benching players like Gideon Mensah and Tariq Lamptey at the expense of the fløpp!ng Baba Rahman was one of the worst decisions made by the coach.
Adding to this, he blamed the GFA for including players they’ve known in past years as a way of getting their favorites into the Black Stars squad for the World.
Though he refused to mention the name of players who were forced to play at the World Cup, he stated that there was one defender who was performing below standard but the coach decide to use when swifter and experienced defenders like Tariq Lamptey and Gideon Mensah stayed as “benchwarmers”.
