Ghanaian attacker Joseph Painstil, along with Mike Tresor Ndayishimiye and Patrik Hrosovsky, has been recognised by his club, KRC Genk, for their outstanding achievements in the 2022/2033 season.
The honours were presented to Painstil and his teammates before their Saturday preseason match against Burnley.
After earning the prize, Paintsil turned to Twitter to show his thanks.
âHumbled and honoured to receive this award as one of the top three performers last season. I dedicate this to the rest of my teammates and coaching staff for always having my back. Thanks to the fans as well for pushing me to be the best I can be. It felt good to see you today,â he said in the tweet.
Painstil has 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions for Genk last season and will want to continue his form in the coming season.
