A Nigerian man allegedly abandoned his wife at the hospital because she gave birth to a baby girl, much to his dismay.
According to a midwife who goes by the Twitter handle @kemziekayy, the new mother has been at the hospital alone for three days after giving birth, with no visits from her husband.
She expressed surprise that men in this day and age still blame women for a baby’s gender and are upset because they welcomed a girl child.
She shared the intriguing report on Twitter saying; “I can’t believe in this day and age some Nigerian men still don’t know that having all female kids isn’t the woman’s fault…that’s how this man hasn’t come to see his wife in the hospital since she gave birth 3 days ago because she had another girl.”
