Bruno Fernandes has been named Manchester United’s new club captain.
The Portuguese midfielder has already worn the armband for United, and Erik ten Hag has stated that he will now be the team’s permanent captain.
Fernandes has 64 goals and 54 assists in 185 appearances for the club since his arrival in 2020.
As captain, the two-time Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year will continue to set the highest standards for the team as it strives for victory in the 2023/24 season and beyond.
