Some members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern region’s Sagnarigu seat vandalised the party’s constituency office.
The enraged youngsters stated that the local party leadership is attempting to force Felicia Tetteh, the 2020 parliamentary candidate, on them.
According to sources, the group went to the office to pick up nomination forms for their candidate, Dr Wahab Alhassan, to run in the forthcoming parliamentary primaries, but they were turned down.
Rather, they said that the executives allowed Northern Regional Minister Alhaji Saani Alhassan Shaibu the option to choose forms for Felicia Tetteh.
This enraged fans, who allegedly destroyed property worth hundreds of cedis.
