Ansumana Keita, Liberia’s head coach, has praised Ghana and stated that he is not concerned about losing to the Black Stars.
The Lone Stars were defeated 3-1 by the four-time African champions on Tuesday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ansumana Keita recognised Ghana as one of the top teams in the world at the end of the match.
According to him, the outcome of the match is unimportant to Liberia because it was just intended to aid the national team in preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
“We played against one of the best teams in the world. The game was meant to prepare us for the World Cup qualifiers, we’re not worried about the result,” the coach said.
Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, and Jordan Ayew scored to give Ghana the victory today.
During the upcoming international break, the Black Stars will play an international friendly against the United States of America and Mexico.
