A teacher at the Chinekope M/A Primary School in Kete Krachi Municipality, Oti Region, died unexpectedly.
Sampson Adu, 29, was killed when the boat he was aboard crashed.
“Mr Adu has since been buried in his hometown in the Eastern Region,” according to 3news.com.
This comes only 24 hours after another boat transporting students from Faana to Kelee in the Weija Gbawe Municipality overturned.
Only three students survived after nine students were slain.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has expressed condolences to the families of all those who have died.
‘With a heavy heart, Management expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved families, and assure them that our hearts and prayers are with them in these trying moments.”
