Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei has finally responded to critics who have perpetually been on his neck and that of Alhaji Akanbi for various decisions taken by the club.
Odotei on Asempa FM on Wednesday morning revealed that Togbe Afede XIV, in his capacity as the executive chairman of the continental club masters, have been issuing instructions for people at the management level to follow.
“We assist the executive chairman and talk with the coach about the team’s performance, even though we are not technical people. We give the team everything they need; therefore, the technical team must be responsible for management And performance”. He said
It will be recalled that Togbe, in a meeting with supporters of the club in Kumasi, commended Alhaji Akanbi and Odotei for their remarkable work ethics and judgement that have put the club in good stead over the years.
However, many Phobians have called for the head of the two, labelling them as “Aki and Pawpaw” for many unpopular decisions taken by the club.
