Fella Makafui, a popular social media influencer, businesswoman, and actress, has found herself at the centre of controversy following her recent arrest and divorce from rapper Medikal. The news has raised concerns for the CEO of Crystal Galaxy College, Dr Isaac Ankomah, who had previously partnered with Fella as a brand ambassador from August 2019 to 2021.
Fella’s arrest on May 22, 2024, was a result of an investigation by ISPYGH 247, an investigative documentary filmmaking company, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council Ghana. She was detained for selling unlicensed items to the public, including pharmaceuticals, and was found to have advertised and transmitted unapproved advertisements, violating FDA regulations.
Dr Ankomah, when contacted about the situation, expressed his concern for Fella and showed enormous sympathy, stating that the issues are personal and that she needs time during these difficult times. He emphasized that the college’s partnership with Fella was for a specific period and has since ended and that the college will continue to focus on its mission and values.
Fella’s arrest and divorce from Medikal have sparked a wave of controversy on social media, with many fans and critics alike sharing their opinions on the matter. While some have expressed support for Fella, others have criticized her actions and questioned her judgment.
