How this family of six escaped the Gomoa Okyereko accident

Stephen Nyame, a man who amazingly survived the horrific incident with his wife and children on the Accra-Cape Coast route in the Central Region, has spoken out about it.

In an interview with Adom News’ Kofi Adjei, he disclosed that the unfortunate occurrence occurred as they were returning from Liberia.

“The tanker abruptly swerved out of its lane and collided with our bus.” “Those who were seated on the side with the car door lost their lives,” he recalled.

Fortunately, Stephen and his family sat in the back on the driver’s side and escaped unharmed.

“By the grace of God, nothing bad happened to us.” We were sitting just behind the driver. I was there with my children and wife. “We were six people, and nobody was hurt,” he remarked gratefully.

Stephen believes his narrative of the event demonstrates the unpredictability of life’s twists and turns. He and his family have emerged as survivors in the face of catastrophe.

According to witnesses, the accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday and involved a head-on collision between a petrol truck and a bus. The bus was heading from Abidjan to Buduburam, while the tanker was driving from Accra to Takoradi with a cargo of petrol.
