For lunch, I brought my girlfriend to KFC. I was at work when she called and said she was hungry. I drove to her workplace, picked her up, and took her out to lunch as lovingly as I could.
I was making my order at the counter when I noticed a man sitting in front of my girlfriend, chatting with her. I initially believed he was only asking a question, but the discussion grew longer.
I noticed my girlfriend pointing at me, and the guy turned to face me. He smiled, and my girl smiled back. I felt at peace after that.
I noticed the guy departing my seat as I was returning from putting the order. He departed after placing a complimentary card on the table.
When I arrived, I noticed the card. My daughter was laughing. “Some guys can be very bold ooo,” she continued. I told him I came here with my boyfriend, but he didn’t seem to care. He even left a greeting card. “Who will contact him?”
I had a look at the card. Apart from a name and a contact, it didn’t specify a position or workplace, and a phrase underneath it stated, “Champions keep playing until they get it right.”
“That’s what they do,” I informed her.
They call everything wearing a skirt. They won’t be able to find a better way to spend their time.”
My girlfriend accepted the card and glanced at it as well. “You have a friend now,” she added as she returned the card to me. Keep it and give it to him when you’re bored.” I’m not sure why I kept the card in my wallet. It is still with me today.
Some things didn’t make sense to me a few months later. My daughter had evolved. She does not call or visit. Whatever I said enraged her. We were arguing over everything and everything, including jokes I made.
“If you think you’re tired of the relationship, better say it and…” I couldn’t stop myself, so I told her.
“I’m getting tired!” She yelled. “I’m sick of your constant whining and insecurity. You sap my vitality, yet I don’t understand the point of our connection. “I need a rest!”
She received the break and then requested a split. “I need space to think about my life and where I want to take it,” she explained.
Our two-year relationship ended abruptly for no apparent reason. I went to her house to get my portable speaker only to find her closing the door.
A Honda C-RV was parked in front of the home. She said she was going somewhere and would call later. I kept an eye on who she was with as she climbed into the car. Just a wild guess…
She met him at KFC.
I was taken aback. “How did it happen?” I wondered. She didn’t even accept the card, so how did she…” I took out my wallet and examined the card. “It was still in my wallet. So how did she acquire his phone number?
Their automobile was likewise pulling away as I was there asking myself questions.
When a woman desires something, she will obtain it. It is entirely up to her and the God she worships as to how she obtains it. The man drives a Honda C-RV, while I use Uber in my Kia Morning. This game has levels, but I wasn’t irritated. What a man cannot keep is what does not want to be kept. She obviously gave him a chance because she saw a greater possibility there than here.
I’m running my Uber business throughout town. I hope to be wealthy one day. Or I could not be wealthy, but no matter what happens in my life, there will be someone for me. Love may be discovered at all stages of life. You only need to be alive.
