Paa Kwesi Fabin has been named head coach of Legon Cities

Legon Cities has made a huge coaching change, naming Paa Kwesi Fabin as their new head coach, succeeding Maxwell Konadu, who has gone to Nsoatreman FC.

Fabin, who just left Aduana Stars, has gladly accepted to take over as manager of the Accra-based team for the forthcoming season. He will start his new job on August 1.

The deputy CEO of Legon Cities, Kwabena Onyina Asenso, acknowledged the club’s delight at signing an experienced coach like Fabin, who has a proven track record of success with a number of notable clubs in Ghana’s top flight.

“We are excited to bring in an experienced coach like Fabin,” Asenso stated of the hire. He is a winner who has coached numerous high-profile clubs. We will offer him with all of the assistance he needs to succeed here. We’re looking forward to a fantastic season together.”

Paa Kwesi Fabin has extensive coaching experience in Ghana, having guided clubs such as Asante Kotoko SC, Hearts of Oak, Inter Allies, Heart of Lions, Wassaman United, and Aduana. He also led the Ghana U17 national team to the 2017 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted in India. Fabin was also the coach of the Uganda U17 national team from April 2019 until December 2019.
