According to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain is ready to compete with Bayern Munich for Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer.
ESPN claimed earlier this month that Kane is eager to join the Bundesliga winners and is unwilling to extend his contract with Spurs.
PSG, on the other hand, is interested in recruiting England captain Harry Kane, and sources tell ESPN that the club has been in negotiations with Kane’s brother and agent Charlie for several weeks.
According to insiders, the Ligue 1 winners are interested in bringing in another striker and are watching Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani.
According to insiders, PSG believes Kane’s preferred destination is Bayern Munich, but if an agreement cannot be made, the French club will be willing to provide more money to Spurs in order to persuade the striker to join them.
PSG are willing to pay €100 million on a striker, which might rise if Kylian Mbappé departs for Real Madrid for a huge transfer price due to a contract disagreement with the club.
After Lionel Messi departed to join MLS side Inter Miami this summer, the French team is rebuilding.
Other areas have been boosted by the signings of Marco Asensio, Manuel Ugarte, Lucas Hernandez, Cher Ndour, and Lee Kang-in, and the appointment of new manager Luis Enrique.
Bayern has already rejected two bids for Kane but is poised to make a third proposal of roughly €90 million, which will still fall short of Spurs’ estimate.
