The Premier League’s participation in Congress, seats on the Executive Council, and other regulations affecting the growth of first-tier competition were also considered during the meeting.
The panel also discussed the implications of the plans’ implementation of an independent Premier League.
The Council considered comments and input from the clubs, noting all of their proposals and recommendations for the Premier League and the Ghana Football Association as a whole.
President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku presided over the meeting, which was joined by Vice President Mark Addo. Habiba Atta Forson, Dr Randy Abbey, Dr Tony Aubynn, George Amoako, Nana Sarfo Oduro, Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Alhaji Salifu Zida, and Linford Asamoah Boadu were all members of the Executive Council.
Chief Executive Officers and top executives from the Premier League’s 18 teams attended the conference.
The Executive Council met with Regional Football Association Chairmen around five weeks ago, followed by a similar session with Women’s Premier League Clubs on Tuesday, May 6, 2023.
