Sadio Mane has joined Al-Nassr and will play with Cristiano Ronaldo

Senegal striker Sadio Mane has moved from Bayern Munich to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, where he will play alongside five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

Following his transfer from Liverpool, the 31-year-old struggled in Germany, scoring 12 goals in 38 games for Bayern Munich during a disappointing season.

during rumours of a violent confrontation between Mane and Leroy Sane in the Manchester City dressing room during a Champions League game in April, the deal was made. Bayern Munich is said to have recouped the majority of the £35 million they paid Liverpool for Mane a year ago.

“We had a long, big hug, and we both agreed we don’t like what’s happening now, but we think it’s the best solution in this situation,” Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel said of his departure. Sometimes things don’t turn out as planned. I’ve always had a great connection with him, and that will continue.”

Al-Nassr signed Cristiano Ronaldo in December and has since added Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Brazil full-back Alex Telles, and Ivory Coast midfielder Seko Fofana to his team.
